This is somewhat my most famous project as of today... it's dead now as i'm now
fully working for Nullsoft on Winamp3.

O well, the hot item now is Ogg Vorbis, which plays quite well with kjofol.

Hated winamp, still got that "newbie" feeling on it, seems too old-fashioned. Sonique? yeah, its ok, but way too slow and messy interface. K-Jöfol is clean, is sharp, is fast, is stable, well, it's everything I'd ever want on a player nowadays, except for not having a Linux implementation.
In your place, I'd be feeling great for having achieved such a high level of acknowledgement as of being invited to join Winamp's team, and having all these people here writing to you certainly is great as well.
But, on another side, I'd be frowning cause my "baby" would be kind of orphan now. You sure put a lot of effort on K-Jöfol, probably even aiming on getting into a big company as Nullsoft. But in Winamp's team you'll be just one more name on those boring staff screens that nobody ever reads. Here you were The One, you were the Ruler of K-Jöfol. I'm sure Winamp will have much to get from you, and we will miss you. As of me, you can be sure I'll keep on using K-Jöfol as long as I dont need other decompression pattern, for it really has conquered me. My windows (whick sucks a lot) will never be the same without the best MP3 player I've ever tested on it.(and I've been through several of them)

Until the mpg123.dll (better quality) plugin for WinAmp, I used K-Jofol alot. I also liked the 20 band EQ, but oh well. On the issue of bloat, winamp uses the least resources, both CPU and Memory of any MP3 player, but I easily give the extra 5-9 MB more that K-Jofol runs on for the nicer interface (until Litestep that is).

It's a very nice player which I've grown quite attached to and the program runs great. In a Prebeta I'd expect bugs, but the only one I've found is when changing songs at times it crashes.
Even with this bug I still prefer Kjofol and will continue to use it:-)

- Winamp 3 does,in fact, support winamp 2.xx plugins, and skins (not that you'd care about the skins part or anything).
- Have you guys seen the k-jofol skin for winamp 3? ;^) You can make winamp 3 look like anything you want it to (finally, freeform!), and the nullsofties are working on a k-jofol for Wasabi project. Oh, and as for those whon prefer the "MusicMatch Jukebox" look (I don't know why...), you can make winamp 3 look like that, too.
